"From check in to check out ..everything was smooth..welcoming ..very professional but courteous.. What really impressed me was shortly after going to my room reception rang to see if all was ok...and to let them know if I needed anything..one doesn't get that in a lot of hotels... Couldn't fault this hotel.."

"Our room overlooked the main entrance . At 0100 am children were outside playing football , directly beneath our room ! I spoke to the manager who eventually spoke to the kids . However they still continued . Around 130-continuing until 0300 am various groups who seemed to be drunk were extremely noisy again outside the lobby waiting for taxis. I spoke to Kevin the manger the following morning who was very dismissive and said they were unable to control this!! I pointed out it happened on hotel property and they ought to be able to control the situation. Apparently there was a function hence the rowdiness. Extremly disappointed in Kevin’s handling of my our complaint and we shall Not staying again . ( second stay at the. Grand and be aware lots of functions on Saturday evenings ‘"
