We really loved the house! It was so comfortable and spacious, very clean and beautiful. The view of the Tetons was fantastic. We loved the neighbor's puppy who came to visit, loved the hot tub and we loved star gazing on the deck... we can't say enough good about it.
This is our second time booking this property. We are a large group (8-10) of guys that go on an annual ski trip. This house is PERFECT for skiing Targhee. The layout of the house is great for groups as really good amenities. The hot tub is a great way to relax after a full day of skiing and the views are unmatched. The owner was also great at responding very quickly to questions.
We recently stayed in this property and had a great experience. The house is laid out well and very nice. We had an issue with the heat not working, and the manager quickly handled it. I would 100% recommend this property for a group or large family.
Overall a great place. Clean and good location. Windows wouldn't close without taking screens off. Dishwasher was difficult to use. Shower door was missing but was fixed quickly once we notified owners. We had a lovely stay and would come again!
This property has it all! The house is laid out so perfectly for large families. The lower level with its own bedroom, bathroom and family room provides a wonderful area if someone is needing a little more quiet and privacy. The views are spectacular. The house is extremely well appointed and beautifully decorated. The property manager, Jim, is very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. We would highly recommend this property and are already looking forward to revisiting this beautiful area.
The house was perfect for our family of 5 and our friend. The pictures can’t capture everything wonderful about the property. The house was equipped with all the necessities and more! Lotion at every sink, extra toothbrushes, firewood, basic spices etc. We would cook dinner in the big kitchen, then gather around the fireplace for games. The location is close to town and great skiing. We will definitely be booking again!
This house was the perfect place to relax after long days of hiking in the Tetons. It accommodated so many of our family and the views from the hot tub were superb.
This is a beautiful property! We enjoyed out stay here and felt like it was convenient to all of our activities. the view from the back deck is something to see and we loved sitting out there in the mornings with coffee. The pictures of the homes interior don't do it justice, it is beautifully decorated and great for a family trip. We would definitely stay here again!
The setting and views of the Tetons are amazing even from inside the house. It has high end amenities and almost everything you could need bringing a family with small kids there.
We had ten adults and stayed very comfortably! We enjoyed the multiple seating areas and fireplace and got to see a moose in the yard. All of the furnishings and kitchen were great and the views of the Tetons are spectacular!
To wake up to a sunrise over the Grand Tetons is beautiful beyond description! This home is in a great, quiet location and served as a convenient landing place for our local exploration. Thanks for a beautiful memory!
Amazing views, great home! ...but shared with mice.
Overall, we loved the home - once they get mice under control, it should be a great place to stay. But we were happy to get out of there, as sharing the space with mice was not what we anticipated. Droppings were found many places upon our arrival to a home that was cleaned days prior. Then mice sightings began. And as crazy as it sounds, we had two pair of small earrings stolen off bedside tables by the mice - one set found in a distant corner with some string and droppings the next day. Another pair never recovered. So weird! Thankfully not too costly.
We let owner know of mice once we saw the first mouse. He sent someone to put out traps, but that didn't do much. And even though I had asked him to text me if they were sending someone, he ignored my message and did not. He also chose to tell me that they had never had anyone complain of mice before, but we saw a dead mouse in a trap with many droppings around in the utility closet, so they did know they had a problem.
The home is truly lovely, with plenty of space for a large family, and views that are to die for! That part was all as advertised! But coming back after a long day at Yellowstone/Tetons to more droppings and scurrying mice made it not the comfortable stay we'd hoped for. Also, the doors were hard to lock/unlock. And the grill wasn't working, which made us have to switch plans for one of our meals. So, I feel generous with 4 stars - choosing to offer the stars for the home more than our experience there.
