We warmly welcome you to our holiday flat on the eastern outskirts of Dresden, in the middle of the Schönfeld highlands. Renovated in 2005 and rented out as a holiday property for the first time, the flat on the ground floor of our home has a separate entrance for our guests. A total of 65m² of living space is at your disposal. The centrepiece is the kitchen with dining area, electric cooker incl. oven, microwave and dishwasher. From the Mediterranean-style living room with radio/TV and sofa bed you have a marvellous view of the large garden. There are two further beds in a double bed in the adjoining bedroom. A bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin completes the holiday flat. The garden with terrace and barbecue area is for your exclusive use. Of course, you will also have your own parking space. With its well-developed hiking trails, the Schönfeld highlands offer you a wealth of scenic attractions, with distant views from the Eastern Ore Mountains to Saxon Switzerland. A hike to Pillnitz, along the vineyards with a visit to the castle and its park, is particularly impressive. In our immediate neighbourhood there is a bicycle hire shop and several riding stables. The market square with restaurant, café, bakery, pharmacy, post office and a bus connection to the city centre is just a two-minute walk away. In addition, the Cabinet of Magic Arts in the Schönfeld Magic Castle organises extraordinary events at weekends. The baroque city centre of old Dresden with its Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera House and Frauenkirche is only 12 kilometres away. A visit to the Old Masters Picture Gallery is highly recommended. An insight into the history of the Saxon royal family is provided by the Renaissance-style hunting lodge in Moritzburg, which is always recommended for a trip on the narrow-gauge railway. You can reach the Saxon Switzerland National Park region by car in around 45 minutes. See the unique natural and rocky landscape, the diverse gastronomy and the rich cultural offerings for yourself. Discover the Königstein Fortress, the Pfaffenstein with the Barbarine, Stolpen Castle and Hohenstein, as well as the Bastei viewpoint with the old rock castle and much more.
