Welcome to Skjønnheim, a peaceful haven with 180 degree views of the fjord west of Drammens Fjord.

The cabin is located elevated and secluded on a hill, beautifully located in an orchard, with the feeling of total peace and privacy and a breathtaking view. At the same time, Svelvik city center is within walking distance.
It is perfect for those who want cottage charm, comfort and proximity to experiences, with Drammen 30 minutes away and Oslo only one hour from the door.

THE SPACE
* cabin living*
This is real Norwegian summer life. The cottage is beautifully decorated with minimalist furniture and relaxing earth tones.

There is a fireplace, windows for great views and sunlight. Outside, step into the fresh Fjord air and enjoy a good book or newspaper on the covered porch while sipping coffee, chai tea, or your wine.

We Are Located:
- 50 MINUTES from Oslo
- 25 min from the center of Drammen
- Walking distance to Svelvic City Center
- A convenient grocery store across the street
- Hiking hiking trails all around.
- Fjord Beach Access

- Master Bedroom (Main Level): First bedroom on the main level contains a cozy full-size bed, easy access to the outdoor porch. The bathroom is downstairs.
- Second bedroom has a queen bed with single bunk bed
- Third bedroom has a single bed.
-The loft has 2 single beds.

All bedrooms are on the main floor except the sleeping loft.

*OUTDOOR LIVING*

*KITCHEN*
Well equipped kitchen, oven, fridge with freezer, cutlery and dishes, coffee maker, and dining table for 6

*THE TOILET*

The toilet is an eco-friendly composting toilet, odor-free, and easy to use.

*GENERAL*
We provide complimentary starter toiletries but guests must bring their own toiletries.

*PARKING*

There are no steep hills or winding roads to get to the cottage parking. There is a short gravel road from the main road and we have allocated parking for one vehicle. Once you park, the walkway to the cabin has green railings leading up to our Paradise Views.

Guest access
This is a self-check-in cabin. Guests will receive a unique code to enter the building.

Other things to note:

- The cabin is located high and beautiful on a hill with great views. There is a nature staircase up to the cabin, and it can therefore be more demanding to arrive with a stroller. There is also possible to walk around via easier stairs.

- This is a place of peace and quiet. An escape from the noise and the distractions of life, for this reason we do not offer wifi and television. However, guests are welcome to bring their own entertainment.
- Laundry : There is self-service laundromat in the neighborhood that guests have access to if needed.

- We offer board games, a variety of boxing genres and puzzles.

- The toilet is an eco-friendly composting toilet, odor-free, and easy to use.
