"We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri. "We had a little taste of Paradise while living at Villa Cascada. If you love nature, it is the place to stay. We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. "What an incredible experience it was to stay here!!! Definitely high-end accommodations for a treehouse. Michael was a pleasure to work with, was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we got there late. We loved being in the trees and so close to so much wild life. "There is no air-conditioning which was covered in the rental guide book and it felt like renting from a computer. There was zero communication with property management. Which is why we couldn't watch tv during our stay. Other than that it was amazing. The road others call treacherous we found invigorating. The view, the pool the outdoor shower and the wildlife we saw was well worth the trip. We would consider renting here again if we could get a line of communication with property management."
