"The Fairmount is an interesting place. The old building has been nicely renovated, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is attentive. The layout is odd, with no real reception or lobby area to speak of. The location is great, close to the River Walk, but construction was going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, making access complicated. They had valet set up which was helpful. The rooftop bar and on site restaurant are great amenities. "
