  • With a beautiful view across from Indian Lake, this charming cottage is the ideal place for families, couples and business travelers. It is the perfect place for golfing, boating, fishing, kayaking and swimming! In the winter, you can explore snowmobile trails and enjoy ice fishing. Bring your boat, jet ski, canoe, or kayak and dock it for free one block from the property! It is just 8 minutes from Dowagiac, where you can enjoy nice restaurants. Just 2 minutes (1.4 miles) from Hills Golf Course.

Always a quiet plesant stay!

Our family stays here almost one weekend a month. The only time we miss is when we do not get it booked before someone else does. The neighborhood is quiet and having a boat launch across the road his a plus.

Location was nice, place was clean, a few things that need to be updated. The main issue we had was internet connection, it didn't work at all for the length of our stay, we had to spend most of the time somewhere else so we just used the place to sleep. Host answered promptly to all of our inquiries, but couldn't get internet fixed.

This was a really ideal place that suited my needs during my stay. Very cute and cozy. I found out I had family that previously loved in Gilbert's Castle on Indian Lake while I was there too, so it was neat to be so near past of my family history.

The facility is roomy and comfortable. It wasn't stocked as well as other places I've been (for example we had to purchase our own coffee, creamer etc.) Not asthetically decorated, (a little but incomplete) dishes are just random mismatched, not well organized. toilet paper not well stocked. It did serve our needs and we had a wonderful time.

Older place, musty odor and the couch was very old and disgusting. Needed to put a blanket on it in order to sit there and didn’t care much for all the ants running around the place. Also, if you want coffee bring your own pot because it’s a 4 cupper and took over 20 minutes to brew!😣
