"I've been driving by The Shoe for over 40 years and finally took the opportunity to spend a weekend there with life-long friends. It.Was.Fantastic!!!! It's cozy, cool, creative, and full of history! We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to the owners and host for preserving this iconic York County site and for the perfect place to have a mini-vacay with my girls!"

"My husband and I stayed in this cottage for our anniversary. The pictures of the listing were accurate, but the listing failed to mention that the cottage is attached to a residence and sits directly in front of a shop. It was clean but there were areas that needed more attention. There was definitely some temperature swings between day and night, and between the first and second floor.
