"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"Stopped overnight on our way down to our own place in the Charente. Plenty of parking around the chateau. Very pleasant staff and a lovely friendly German Shepperd dog to welcome you. Room was very clean, spacious and a most comfy bed and pillows. We had a lovely dinner in the evening but wanted to get on the road early in the morning so passed on the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Lastly, nice decking area to sit out on in the evenings."

"We had a fantastic week and Aline was very friendly and accomodating. The house was perfect for our family and the kids loved the pool which is all enclosed for safety.
The house had plenty of room for large groups like ours and the supermarket was 5 mins drive up the road which was really handy.
There is a great patisere in the local town well worth a visit for some lovely fresh cakes.
