"We loved our stay at Plage Rose. The house is beautiful yet still comfortable. It is well stocked from the kitchen to beach supplies. The beach was amazing and it was nice to have the pool when we needed some afternoon shade. We used one of the recommended chefs and had a delicious Bahamian meal."

"The room was clean and well stocked. It is across from the beach with a beautiful pool that is well maintained. I loved that it had a full size refrigerator, stove, dish washer, washer and dryer and the other items you would need in a kitchen along with a coffee maker and coffee! It is walking distance from the grocery store, some restaurants and the liquor store. We stayed another night we liked it so well. Great location for day trips to other parts of Eleuthera!"

"Six of us flew into the island on a blustery day.  The plane danced from side to side down the runway, tossed by the ocean breeze like tall reed grass.  The same strong winds followed us as we made our way from the Governor’s Harbor Airport to our destination on Double Bay.  That evening we discovered why this place is called Windsong.  The gusts rolling in off the Atlantic rattled through the palm fronds, creating a soothing symphony in perfect harmony with the churning ocean waves.  Our first walk down the winding beach path revealing the picturesque white sand beach took the breath from all of us.  It was effortless to accept that this would be our home while we are here.This place is carefully designed to promote relaxation and connection.  The houses, grounds and amenities have all been carefully maintained and cultivated to make it very easy to let it all go and re-center.  Most of our meals were home cooked in the well appointed kitchen where we were all able to gather as a family and help with cooking, food prep, cleaning or conversing.  All of our meals at home were eaten at the dining table with the glass doors opened wide to the ocean view and breeze.  We also made sure to get out and eat at a couple local restaurants which were all full of character and had good food.  It can be hard to find moments of true serenity in the world, but this place seems to be overflowing with them."

"-Beautiful view of Atlantic from bedroom, living area, & deck! -Wonderful breeze, which allowed sleeping without air conditioner on.-Very quiet and secluded. -Easy walk to sandier part of Double Bay beach. -Appreciated having coolers, beach chairs, umbrella, and towels for visits to many amazing beaches. Favorites included Ten Bay (very calm), Twin Coves (good snorkeling), and Light House (play in the waves where Atlantic meets Caribbean!) (Access owned by Disney, but you can walk there from beach just north of it, which is basically just an extension of same beach. No cruise ships when we went on a Sunday.) -N. Eleuthera airport 1.5 hours drive, so recommend flying into Gov. Harbour if able. -Eleuthera Markets: good variety of groceries. Island Farm for fresh produce!-House very clean and comfortable. (The only reason I gave four stars for property cleanliness is because they were in the process of installing a sidewalk in front that leads to another deck area, so there was some debris from that. Looks like it will be completed soon, so shouldn't be an issue for future guests, who will be able to enjoy using it. Franki, the gentleman working on it, was very friendly. Host, Linda, asked if it would be ok if he worked while we were there, and we agreed it was.) -Everything worked well, so we had no need to contact property managers. Linda immediately responded any time I reached out with questions about the area.-Wish we could have stayed longer!"
