Apartment Villa Butterburg Ukena - A dream for 8 people with balcony

Our holiday rental is the ideal accommodation for guests seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle, while still appreciating its central location. Our sunny property, “Villa Butterburg,” features a large grove of trees on a 4,000 m² lot with plenty of seating areas, inviting you to linger. For our younger guests, there’s a playground and a trampoline, while adults can relax comfortably in the garden or in a beach chair. The property consists of a main house (built in 1905 as a dairy) and a terrace house with four residential units. The Ukena holiday rental is located on the ground floor of the main house and is accessible via an internal staircase. The highlight is the large kitchen, which is perfect for social gatherings and is connected to the light-filled living room. A wraparound balcony is perfect for enjoying a sundowner. The spacious holiday apartment features 4 bedrooms (3 double beds and 1 set of bunk beds: mattresses 200x90) and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. Kitchen amenities include, among other things, a coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, and electric kettle.

Information about the area
The coastal towns of Dornumersiel (8 minutes), Neßmersiel (9 minutes), Bensersiel (15 minutes), and Norddeich (24 minutes) are just a short drive away. Dornumersiel has a swimming beach, a free, heated seawater outdoor pool, a surf school, a mini-golf course, and a small harbour. The area around Dornum also invites you to go on bike rides through the East Frisian countryside with its numerous bike paths and dirt roads. The charming, historic town centre of Dornum is a 10-minute walk away. In Dornum, you’ll find supermarkets (Aldi, Netto, Edeka), restaurants, cafes, doctors, and a pharmacy. Every Thursday there’s a market featuring fresh, regional products, and our moated castle with its castle park is perfect for a leisurely stroll. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the stop for the “Museum Railway,” which offers an adventure for young and old alike. “A Trip to the North and Back” featuring historic railcars and diesel locomotives. Across from our property, a dirt path is perfect for a morning walk.

One free parking space is assigned to each apartment. Free Wi-Fi and bicycle storage are available. Costs and Additional Services: The North Sea Card tourist tax (not included in the rental price) is levied by the municipality of Dornum and must be paid in cash on-site to the landlord. Final cleaning is included in the total price. Bed linens (10 euros per person), towels (5 euros), travel cots for children (10 euros), and high chairs (5 euros) can be provided upon request for a one-time fee (not included in the total price).
