  • Let your mind wander and spend relaxing days in our holiday home in Dornum. The historic moated castle and the Beningaburg invite you to explore like the post mill and the historically grown market place.
    Our holiday home is located on a plot of approx. 1000 square meters and offers you and your children an ideal playground and tobogganing area. Garden furniture and parasols are available for sun worshipers. The garage driveway has space for 2 vehicles. There is a spa center in Dornum where cures are possible. Dornum is 5 km from Dornumersiel and 20 km from Norden Norddeich. From there you can drive to Norderney every hour, from other locations you can reach various East Frisian islands. Bicycle rental is also in Dornum. There is an inhalation house in Dornumersiel. There are also many interesting things to discover.
    The property is divided as follows: Ground floor: hall, separate small kitchen with washing machine, living room with sofa and LCD TV, satellite TV, dining room, 1 single room, bathroom and toilet.
    Upper floor: 2 double rooms, 1 twin room

    Dogs are allowed.

    The beach is 5 km away. Bikes, also motorized, can be rented in Dornum. As a self-catering supermarket and small shops are nearby. And if you don't want to cook - use the large and small restaurants in town. Other options: the giant slide on the beach, North Sea fishing trips, mudflat hikes, trips to the islands, the seal lift station in Norddeich and bird watching in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, trips to Worpswede and Emden (Henri Nannen Art Museum)

Wir haben eine schöne Woche gehabt. Das Haus war so perfekt für uns zu 6. und Hund.Der große Garten hat vor allem den Kindern und den Hund Freude bereitet.Die Ausstattung im Haus war genau richtig,wir könnten uns gut versorgen.Die Umgebung und die Nachbarschaft war sehr angenehm.Kurze Autominuten zu schönen Ausflugsziele.Gute Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin.Herzlichen Dank und bis bald.

Hallo Ich weiß ja nicht von wann die Bilder sind und eingestellt wurden.Wir alle sind erschrocken als wir die Wohnung betraten.Überall Dreck und in jedem Zimmer Spinnennetze.Die Möbel größtenteils kaputt.Esstischplatte kann man nicht befestigen.Alles total runter gekommen und müsste komplett Kernsaniert werden.Über das Bad da sage ich am besten nichts dazu.Würde mich echt schämen für so teuer Geld so etwas zu vermieten.Wir gehen jetzt schon über 20 Jahre an die Nordsee,aber so etwas haben wir noch nie gesehen.

Ein Haus, das sich für den Urlaub als Familie mit Hund und Kindern anbietet. Riesengroßer Garten, Nähe zum Meer, ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen im Haus.Es war sehr sauber. Eine 2. Toilette wäre super bei so vielen Gästen. Ausstattung für viele Personen mehr als genug. Besonders schön war der neue Strandkorb im Garten (-:Sehr netter Kontakt mit Vermieterin und Verwalterin.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt gegenüber.Ruhige Lage, gute Betten.

Leider waren wir nicht sehr zufrieden mit dem Mietobjekt. Das Haus ist stark in die Jahre gekommen, was ja ok ist. Aber es war extrem schmutzig. Den Backofen hab ich sofort wieder zugemacht. Das war wirklich eine Zumutung! Sämtliche Griffe in der Küche waren versifft und das Geschirr dreckig…

Guter erster Eindruck, dann Enttäuschend

Die Buchung und der erste Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Am Ferienhaus angekommen, war die Freude leider schnell verflogen. Das Ferienhaus war sehr schmutzig. Das Waschbecken war voller Haare und Dreck, die Toilette sah leider nicht anders aus. Im Kühlschrank lagen noch Haare und Krümel. Die Schränke in den Schlafzimmern konnte man leider nicht benutzen, da diese im Innern mit einer dicken Staubschicht bedeckt waren. Diverse Küchenutensilien waren noch mit Essensresten verschmutzt. Das alles kann passieren, aber leider hat die Vermieterin auf unsere Nachrichten, inklusive Fotos, bis heute nicht reagiert. Das finden wir am aller schlimmsten daran. Da hätten wir uns eine andere Reaktion gewünscht. In dieses Ferienhaus werden wir sicherlich nicht noch einmal fahren.

Ein paar gute Tage

Nach einer etwas stockenden Anreise (Baustellen haben die Fahrtzeit verlängert), verlief das Check-in zügig und unkompliziert. Das Haus hat eine gute Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Supermarktes mit Bäckerei. Schnelle Versorgung war somit gesichert. Künftig müssen wir nur darauf achten, dass eine zweite Toilette zur Verfügung steht. Mit sieben Personen staute es sich mansm

Ferienhaus in Dornum

Das Haus war für 7 Personen.Der Kühlschrank für so ein Angebot viel zu klein.Die Kaffeemaschine hatte eine falsche Kanne, also mußte man den Kaffee mit Hand aufschütten. Das Waschbecken im Bad ruscht aus der Wand. Schranktüren in den Zimmern schließen gar nicht. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer ist so durchgesessen das man da nicht sitzen konnte. Rauchmelder liegen auf den Schränken, teilweise ohne Batterien. Und 3 Dreiersteckdosen aneinander gehen gar nicht. Die Betten sind teilweise angebrochen. Alles in allem hatten wir noch nie so eine misserabel Unterkunft. Weiter empfehlen werden wir diese Unterkunft mit Sicherheit nicht.

Unverschämt

Die Wohnung an sich war ein reinstes dreckloch. Die Möbel alle nur zusammen gewürfelt und extrem veraltet von Küche über Wohnzimmer bis zu den Schlafzimmern. Die Matratzen durchgelegen alles befangen mit Spinnen und anderen Insekten und das Sofa wartet keine Entspannung sondern der reinste Horror..... Wir sind schon sehr oft an der Nordsee gewesen aber so enttäuscht waren wir noch nie von der Unterkunft..... Ich habe die Vermieterin angerufen und darauf hingewiesen aber da hätte ich auch mit Gardinen reden können. Zumindest werden wir dieses ferienobjekt nicht wieder besuchen.

Das Objekt war absolut ungepflegt. Altmodische , teilweise defekte Möbel. Eine steile Treppe in das Obergeschoß. Diese Treppe quitschte so laut, dass unser Enkel ( 9 Monate ) nicht wirklich schlafen konnte. Selbst der Holzfussboden war teilweise defekt. Der zum Objekt gehörige Garten war ungepflegt. Der Rasen wurde am dritten oder vierten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes gemäht. Davor offensichtlich mehrere Wochen nicht. NIE WIEDER!

Familienurlaub

Haus und Grundstück sehr ungepflegt. Geputzt war nur vornherum. Hinter den Möbel lag der "Jahrhundert - Dreck", viele Möbel defekt, etliche Lampen funktionierten nicht, Staubsauger war so verdreckt, dass er nichts einsaugte, Bodenbürste defekt, beim Waschen mit der Maschine flog im Schleudergang immer die Sicherung raus, da überlastet, im Bad ist das Waschbecken nicht richtig befestigt, die Armatur an der Wanne war defekt, der Wäscheständer total verbogen, die Fenster konnten nur teilweise geöffnet werden, da sie so verzogen sind, dass sie nicht aufzubekommen waren. Die Türen ebenso... Wenn man die vergangenen Rezessionen liest, scheint von der versprochenen Mängelbehebung nicht viel umgesetzt worden zu sein. Schade, mit relativ wenig Aufwand könnte viel aus dem Haus gemacht werden.

Das Haus ist sehr alt und Möbel sperrmüllreif

Also die Möbel sind reif für den Sperrmüll keine Pflege vom Haus man sollte eigentlich sein Geld zurück verlangen. Sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Lampen gehen auch nicht alle. Die Grills sind auch Schrottreif.

Da es nur für ein Wochenende war und wir uns wenig im Haus aufgehalten haben, ist es gut gewesen. Die Betten hätten eine Erneuerung nötig. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut, alles umliegende schnell zu erreichen.

Preis-Leistung sehr gut

Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub, Übergaben haben problemlos geklappt, toller großer Garten, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Ein sehr entspannter Urlaub. An den Strand in Neßmersiel und Dornumersiel ist man mit dem Auto innerhalb kurzer Zeit gelangt.
