"Claudia checked us in and she was just all sunshine and light. Charming, helpful and just a pleasure to talk to. The room was great with a great view of the Convent of Christ and Castle of Tomar on the hill. Met one of the owners briefly and he was very helpful in getting us a cab. The restaurant which is attached to the hotel, but not included with the hotel was very very good."

Everything is bio and comes from their own land. The peacefulness of the location just right at the river was another magical experience. Perfect to swim in the lake, paddle, or even for a boat ride. Tomar or Coimbra is just 30 min drive and provides the option for a nice day trip. We can highly recommend this hidden gem. The hosts are lovely and very welcoming."
