"The property itself is very nice and well kept. The staff were also great! The pool is nice but a little deep at 1.4m but I’m just short. They do need to do a better job of food safety and covering food from flies. If I didn’t make it right at buffet opening, everything was covered in bugs! "The honeymoon suite with private plunge pool was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a large bathroom and shower area. The room was beach front with a small shaded terrace. "The Residence was the perfect spot to celebrate my 40th birthday. The deluxe garden view with the private pool was exact atmosphere my husband and I were looking for. The hotel is extremely clean and they even offer room cleanings twice a day. And we also loved the different themed dinner options each night along side with a live band performance! The staff make you feel at home and apart of the family. Nico always greeted us with a warm smile and helped us capture precious moments. The location is a little far from main attractions but I promise it’s worth it. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit to Zanzibar so special!♥️"

"Very pleasant stay. Room was cleaned twice a day and fulfilled our expectation. Very nice area and extremely service minded personnel. Food had a high quality with a wide variation of menues every day. Be aware of the tide on that side of the island, some day you had to walk several hundred meters for having a bath. "
