"Davis, at the checkin desk was very nice and helpful. Room was nice but beds and pillows were a bit hard. Shower difficult to operate and we couldn't get it to turn off so had to report it was still running to desk when we checked out early morning. Also, I was sick and needed some medicine and a large bottle of water BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A GIFT SHOP in the hotel! Can you believe it? I had to walk out and go across the street to a petrol station to find some medicine for my cold and a bottle of water. I have never been in a hotel that didn't provide assistance for their guests for additional little amenities! Also, our room was on a floor that we were expected to go down 6 or 8 stairs with all our luggage to get to (I use a cane as well.) There was a handicap lift which we had to call the desk to get someone to assist us with to get us and our luggage down to our room level. VERY FRUSTRATING!"

"Biggest plus is the proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service. The room was clean, but only one luggage stand for two suitcases. Had a sandwich at the bar that was good, but the bar/restaurant could have used another helper. Staff was friendly and got us checked in/out quickly."

"Convenient locating for taking public transport to the airport and Dublin. Unfortunately there is a music venue right next door which plays loud music until 2.30am on weekends which did disturb our sleep massively."

"What a beautiful place for an anniversary. The room was spacious and clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Pillows were good and soft. Went to the spa to use the pool and hot tub, unfortunately the tub wasn't working properly. No big deal was a goot time. The food was excellent, I highly recommend the hot wings at the bar. Not too hot but wow what a flavour. Good and close to most places. Top was the Mucross castle and gardens."

"EU 3 shuttle to airport terminal 2 for USA flights, every 30 min, from door of hotel. Better than Clayton as it is not from shuttle location near terminal 1. Room has a kettle coffee and tea."

"This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. Upon arrival, mattresses lined the hallways, and the common areas were in poor condition, cobwebs, dirty windows, and damaged carpets. Our room had a strong odor, and the carpet was ripped and bunched up, exposing sharp tracks and nails. The bathroom was also in bad shape, with a corroding toilet. At the front desk, we were told these issues were known and related to ongoing repairs after housing refugees, along with recent water problems. None of this was disclosed at booking, despite the listing claiming recent renovations. We were moved to an “upgraded” room, but aside from an ocean view, conditions were similar it was unclean, with lingering odors and a heavily stained mattress. The water was dangerously hot and difficult to control, and when we called for help, the response was dismissive. The next morning, we found bugs on our towels. At that point, we stopped raising concerns as no other rooms were available. The location is also misleading, while it appears close to Dublin, travel time exceeded an hour due to traffic and tolls. I do want to note the front desk staff was accommodating and tried their best, and one breakfast staff member, Will, was especially kind. This review is not a reflection of the staff, but of management and ownership. Overall, the hotel did not match its advertised condition, and the lack of transparency was unacceptable."
