"The hotel and staff were amazing. Myself and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary on our arrival date and the hotel very kindly had a lovely gift in our room for us. The facilities were fantastic, clean and comfortable. We decided to go half board for our stay and the choice's both at breakfast and dinner could not be faulted. Lovely fresh and very well presented food. The staff at the hotel are incredible. Polite, professional and efficient. Nothing was a problem for them. The hotel is within walking distance of the marina and while passing traffic can be heard around the pool area during the day,at night the hotel is quiet and peaceful and noise was never an issue.
We were disappointed to hear that the hotel is to temporarily close at the end of the season for a full renovation as we particularly loved the traditional character of the place.
We hope it doesn't change the ambience of the place too much

"This hotel is a luxury resort with staff that go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The setting is beautiful and it is quiet and peaceful. Food in all the restaurants is amazing. Rooms are beautiful. Spacious grounds with many areas to sit and relax or swim. "

"We had a great stay here. The hosts were very accommodating and the house is brilliant! We had 8 adults and 2 children (5&1) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool area was guarded which was helpful. Everything we needed!"
"Great stay at Laguna resort, which is a quiet and relaxing retreat on the outskirts of Vilamoura. Taxi to the marina is around €6, excluding tip. You could walk although it’s about 30mins in the heat. Limited dining options on the resort but plenty within a short taxi ride. Villa cleaned 6 days (Sunday off), downside was the hot tub is not operational and top level unusable, also patio area could have been cleaner. Food from the cafe was okay, though priced at a premium compared to other similar cafes even at the Marina. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely would return. "
"A beautifully situated and well appointed boutique hotel graced with courteous, efficient, multilingual staff. The pool and decking is framed with magnificent Mediterranean pines and rosemary. Gym is well equipped and the breakfast buffet abundant. Bedlinen is the finest, softest most silken cotton and the pillows provide a sweet slumber. Clientele in July was a mix of Portuguese ( a good sign when you stay in a country that its own people choose it) and some English, Irish and Italians. Guests were mostly well behaved. "
