Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Dolní Lochov?
The best time to visit Dolní Lochov is during the late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the beautiful countryside and engaging in outdoor activities. The temperatures are mild, making it comfortable for hiking, cycling, and enjoying the natural surroundings without the intense heat of summer or the cold of winter. You'll also find the landscape particularly picturesque, with spring blossoms or autumn colours.

For those who enjoy a more active holiday, these shoulder seasons are ideal. The trails around the nearby Prachov Rocks, a popular natural landmark, are less crowded than in peak summer, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. Many local guesthouses and restaurants are fully operational, offering good service without the summer rush.

Families might find the early summer months (June) particularly appealing. The weather is warm enough for children to enjoy outdoor play, and the longer daylight hours provide ample time for excursions.
