"The property and the home were beautiful. My only complaints are about cleanliness. There was dust which is to be expected. You could hardly see in the master bathroom mirrors because it was so dusty. We did encounter some bugs & fruit flies in the kitchen. The major thing was there was mouse poop in some of the kitchen cabinets & drawers. If you bring small children, note that there are some steps from the kitchen to the living room & steps on the porch. The driveway does have a bit of a steep incline. The nearest stores are 18-20 minutes from the house."

"We had a wonderful time at the house. The house was perfect for our family vacation. The views are beautiful from the deck. The house was clean with many great amenities. The hot tub was great. It's very close to Carter Lake for boat rentals and swimming. Lee was a great host and was very responsive to requests. We recommend this house for large families, or family reunions."

"We had a fantastic time!! Check-in took all of about 5 minutes. We decided not to rent a boat, however even with the crazy busy July 4th holiday they offered us an option for a rental and had plenty of accommodations for people with boats. The cabin was super comfortable, had an absolutely beautiful view of the lake, and was so private and quiet. We ended up cooking multiple meals at the cabin over the few nights we were there. We also managed to see two bald eagles while we were sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch! So much to do and so much to see within 15/20 minutes of Carters Lake. Wonderful staff, great cabin..we will absolutely be coming back!! Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday weekend!"

"This cabin by the lake has become one of my favorite getaway spots! It was secluded enough to be peaceful and safe, yet close enough to town to still be easily accessible. The location was gated and felt extremely safe. It was so clean and cared for that I didn't even bother with the lysol wipes I normally bring on Holiday. The resort's rules and expectations were clearly listed and easily abided. I greatly appreciateed that no outside guests were permitted as that just kept the peaceful ambiance and safety in check. The cabin was fully furnished with everything my family of 4 needed for a peaceful getaway. The breathtaking views, helpful staff and cleanliness of not only the cabin but surrounding grounds were so wonderful I will definitely be bringing my family back!"
