Heart of Houghton! Trails, Shopping & More!

Welcome to Main St BnB! Our location is the perfect spot for your needs! We are conveniently located close to town. Just 3 miles to Michigan Tech and 2 miles to downtown Houghton. Close to Michigan Tech Trails. Access to snowmobile trails! Plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers.

*Located in Houghton, MI Upper Penninsula NOT near Houghton Lake Lower MI*

The space
The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to cook including pots and pans, toaster, hand mixer, griddle, mixing bowls, and dishes to name a few. The walk-in pantry is great for those on a longer stay to store your items out of the way. The kitchen/dining area also has a coffee bar with a keurig coffee pot & a few complimentary kcups, creamers and tea to start your day off just right!
On the main floor we have a laundry room, living room, kitchen with dining area, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a small private office room should you need to work away from home! Off of the master bathroom is a small deck to enjoy the sounds of nature! Also in the master bathroom is a mini sauna! Pour on the steam and cool off on the deck.
Spacious basement for kids to play including a playhouse & toys. The basement has two bedrooms and a half bath for your use. Also in the basement is an area for winter gear to be hung to enjoy the next days adventures outdoors. The backyard is perfect for yard games and has a set of swings for the kids! Feel free to park your vehicle or snowmobiles in the attached garage during the winter months.

incredible stay

This was a last minute choice as our group expanded and we needed more accomodations. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very close to all of our activities. will book again.

Wonderful home close to MTU!

This was a perfect “home base” for moving our student into the Elements apartments. The location was perfect, the home was clean and comfortable, and the owners had everything set up for us. Would absolutely stay here again!

UP snowmobile trip

The house was perfect for our group of 6, plenty of room for all of us and our gear. Lot’s of room for two trucks and trailers and there’s a trail access right across the street.

Great place to rent with a family group!

Great size kitchen and dining area, nice large yard. Not too far from many great beaches and must see spots in Keweenaw Peninsula. 5 bedrooms were all well kept and clean. We also enjoyed the firepit one night too. Would stay again.

Football Weekend

This was a wonderful location for us! We were up for our son's football game. We loved the closeness to the stadium and the house was great. We made good use of the fire pit outside. Thanks for a great weekend!!

We needed a place for 3 generations in order to attend mid-winter graduation at MTU.Property is short distance to the University yet in quiet neighborhood. House is very clean, and well appointed.

Freshman move in weekend

Shared house with another family from our area. Plenty of room for both our families. Living room and kitchen were plenty big enough for us all to spend time together. Beautiful fire pit outside. Parking was easy. This place made us feel at home on a weekend with high emotions. It was also close to campus and quiet.

The house was in a perfect location. Just minutes from town but tucked away where you felt you didn’t have neighbors. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed including plenty of space for all of us. Fire pit was enjoyable and the sauna is a great bonus!

A beautiful home with a well-stocked kitchen and more than enough space for our group of 4 adults. It was clean and quiet - and the hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the backyard, enjoyed a bonfire, and were in a nice proximity to Houghton and Hancock.

We had plenty of space for our families to stay to attend a wedding. Close to downtown but not in it, this location allowed us to explore Houghton and the Keweenaw Peninsula and come back "home" to relax. Family members especially enjoyed watching the deer who frequented the backyard.
