"Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. Die Umgebung ist zauberhaft. Eine nahe Baustelle und schlechtes Wetter beeinträchtigten den Aufenthalt. Damit konnte man nicht rechnen. Der Gastgeber war gut erreichbar und kümmerte sich bei Problemen bzw. Nachfragen. "

"Wir haben 3 Nächte hier zu zweit verbracht. Der Bungalow ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht (viele Teller, Besteck & Tassen). Für 2 Personen ist der Platz im Haus ausreichend. Schön ist besonders die Terasse, die während der heißen Sommerstunden schattig liegt. Wir können den Bungalow absolut empfehlen."

"Ein herrliches Fleckchen Idylle. Sehr freundliche Begrüßung und äußerst nette Gastgeber. Sauber, ordentlich und ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Wer sich eine kleine Auszeit fern von jeglicher Hektik nehmen möchte, ist dort genau richtig. Eine herrliche Aussicht und sehr viel Ruhe, mit Natur und vielen Möglichkeiten, die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden."

"Nach kurvenreicher Anfahrt kamen wir in das urige Dörfchen Knobelsdorf. Die Fewo liegt in einem alten Haus, welches stark modenisiert ist und somit den Anforderungen an eine gute Fewo vollkommen genügt. Wir haben uns in der Fewo immer wohl gefühlt. In das Dorfleben wird man fast automatisch integriert. Fazit: mal wieder ein schöner und ruhiger Urlaub in der Fewo in Knobelsdorf."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."
