Staying at this Country Retreat Supports a Nonprofit Animal Rescue

  • Perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty awaits with this cozy 3BR, 2BA rural Iowa home on scenic acreage just 25 minutes from Davenport. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit laundry, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and excellent cellular coverage. Unwind on the porch, go for a nature walk, or use the super fast 2Gig internet. Ideal for couples, small families, remote workers, or a small gathering of close friends. Sleeps up to 7 adults comfortably with 1K, 1Q, 2T beds, and a couch. Pet-friendly as well.

    This house sits on an 8.5-acre property which was purchased in June 2025 to be the future home of Precious Acres Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Little has been done in preparation for the rescue other than fundraising and yard preparations. Installation of a perimeter fence will begin in the S7mmer of 2026, followed by the construction of a kennel building. In the meantime, the house is being rented to help offset property expenses. So staying helps the rescue cause.

This property was very comfortable and inviting. My family and I stay here for a quick get away. We will be back to visit and stay feel good that our dollars support a Nonprofit Animal Rescue.
