Nice house in a decent location. That's the good news. The rest of our experience was extremely frustrating. If you rent this house please keep your fingers crossed and hope nothing goes wrong, because getting ahold of your host will be literally impossible. First day there one of the toilets backed up. Tried to get ahold of our host was not easy ...took 2 days. By the time his wife got back to us,we had another issue...while using one of the showers water started leaking into the kitchen. Called the owner and of course no response. So now we are without 1 shower and 1 toilet, with 8 people. Finally a plumber came out on day 4 of a 5 day trip. He arrived around 2 and stayed till 8...why?? Septic system was full and had to be emptied. Not only were we without any water or use of facilities for 6hrs,but the odor was less then pleasant as can be imagined. Things happen unexpectedly and sometimes can't be helped. But the lack of communication and consideration was terrible. When we requested some type of reimbursement, we were insulted with a ridiculous offer. We have been renting homes all over the country for years and have never run into a situation like this. Again, nice house in a nice area and I hate giving such a poor review but its a honest one..fingers crossed that you don't need to get ahold of the host, and I use that term loosely
