This property is accessible only by seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE). The flight is 25-35 minutes in duration. Guests must contact the property with their international flight details at least 4 days before their expected arrival date so that the property can pre-book seaplane transfers (surcharge). Any flight booking made within 3 days before arrival is subject to availability.
Guests will have access to the seaplane lounge at Velana Airport while they wait for their flight to the property. Seaplane transfers are provided by a third party and transfers in connection with all international flights will be arranged by them. Every effort will be made to transfer guests to the resort within 2 hours of their arrival at the lounge. Seaplane operating hours between the resort and the airport are available from 6 AM to 4 PM (during daylight hours only).

Amazing family holiday

We had an amazing time on this beautiful island. The place is amazing but the staff really make it stand out. Everyone is so friendly and so good with the children. The wonderful and ever smiling mophiso even carried my feverish daughter to my bungalow one night. We hope we can come back soon

Excellent property all around. Plenty of food options. I’d definitely recommend the all inclusive deal. Lots of activities for couples and families. Fantastic staff and customer service all around. The island in itself is gorgeous. It’s about 2 km long with a sand bar at low tide that connects it to a neighboring local island (although crossing over is not allowed). Very walkable and they offer club cars and bikes if you prefer not to walk. Diving center and water sports facilities on premises. Highly recommended.

Lux* South Ari is a great choice for a vacation in the Maldives. The island is beautiful, great facilities, excellent service. I’d definitely recommend the all inclusive option (def worth the money and offers many options). They offer many activities and the spa is fantastic. The Lux Cafe is also a great touch. I’ve tried both the beach villas and the over water villas and you def can’t go wrong with either.

An excellent all around resort to enjoy the sun and the beach in the Maldives. The island is big enough for privacy and seclusion yet intimate and walkable. The all inclusive option is well worth it and the food/drinks are great. I’d highly recommend this property if you’re considering a visit to the Maldives.

Fantastic location and an amazing place. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The only reason I dropped one star overall is that I felt the food and drinks were very overpriced considering the good but not excellent quality. We were stunned by the buffet cost considering we are not big eaters.
