On the Black River - close to awesome fishing!

Charming home built in 1900 with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths in a perfect location- close to Thousand Islands, Fort Drum and Canada. Main floor bedroom has double bed with en suite bathroom. Screened in pavilion is perfect for al fresco dining.

Very peaceful home with incredible views of the Black River. Relax on the back deck or around the firepit on cool evenings!

Adorable little village - within walking distance to an ice cream shop, diner, pub and amazing fishing!

Notes: stairs leading to second floor are a tad steep and as an old farmhouse, ceilings tend to be lower. During the summer months, there will be weekly lawn care.
There is a $75 pet fee. If not disclosed at the time of booking, it will be an additional charge upon checkout.
Smoking is not allowed inside the home/sunroom. If the rule is violated, a $250 deep cleaning fee will be charged.

**Disclosure: we have one Ring camera mounted to the garage facing front door and one facing the driveway strictly for security purposes.

This home is spectacular! Perfect and clean. Very spacious and they kindly provided lovely bedding, towels, coffees, and the most breathtaking view of the fall foliage and river. Perfect Retreat!

This was the perfect retreat for my sister and I while visiting my son who's stationed at Fort Drum. It was central to everything. The home is cozy and equipped with everything you need for a peaceful stay. I just wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the outdoors more! I will definitely stay here again!

Fishing Trip for the guys

The house was very nicely decorated and very well equipped with anything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. We were able to enjoy comfortable breakfasts in the kitchen while enjoying meals in the dining room. It was in a great location and close to shopping and great restaurants. Would highly recommend this place for your stay near the Black River!

Weekend Fishing Trip with the Fellas!

Beautiful home & great hosts

We needed a pup friendly home to stay at while visiting our best friends. Our host was gracious enough to let us have a "Friendsgiving" there as my friends home doesn't have the capacity. Everything you want in a beautiful and comfortable package

This was the best vacation rental we’ve ever had. Is beautifully finished and furnished. The enclosed porch is great for watching the river in comfort. The neighborhood is very quiet, clean and safe. Parks, a small grocery store, museum, library, coffee shop, and liquor store are all within a few blocks walk.We didn’t have any problems but did message the host a couple of times. They were very responsive.Hopefully we will have an opportunity to visit again in the future.

Top notch home for vacation stay

This home was exactly what we were looking for. The owner has furnished this house with everything you might need, including extras. Her attention to detail was apparent in every room. All the appliances and A/C functioned perfectly. The rooms are comfortable and the decor is like a trip around the world. We would stay there again without hesitation. Plus, it is dog-friendly which is very important to us. Suzie even had dog biscuits waiting for our pooch.

Highly recommend

What a cute cottage with every item you could possibly need at your fingertips. The home was clean and Suzie did all she could to make sure my 83 year old mom was comfortable. The town is cute to walk around to see salmon fishermen and a bait shop by the boat ramp. Watertown is an easy 10 minute ride with some old time restaurants and a cool park at the top of a big hill that offers fabulous views. We hope to return.

Beautiful and relaxing

We booked this location because it is in the path of totality for the solar eclipse in April 2024. The accuracy of the listing is spot on. The host is very responsive and very helpful.We only had one question and that was what the wifi password was because we didn't see it on the fridge. LOL! The property is absolutely stunning.The view from the back deck is gorgeous.The house was immaculate and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Dexter, NY area!
