Nestled amidst serene surroundings, this beautiful 325 sq. ft. cabin offers a secluded retreat for those seeking tranquility. Step inside, and you will find tasteful and beautiful decor that enhances the cozy ambience. The front porch adds a charming space to unwind and soaking nature’s beauty. This cabin, the perfect blend of seclusion and comfort invites you to experience a peaceful escape into a world where simplicity meets elegance. You won’t want to leave this charming one of a kind place. The house in cabin are located on 4 acres and Dewey Arizona. Located only one hour from Phoenix and 30 minutes from downtown Prescott. Guests will have access to a cozy fire pit area with charcoal bbq and secluded Jacuzzi (24 advanced notice required). Local attractions are right down the road; Mortimer farms, and Left-T’s Steakhouse are just minutes away!

Pam was awesome, it was a beautiful and quiet location. It had everything we needed right down to a pooper scooper for our pup! We enjoyed the yard. We definitely will go back :)

Great cabin

We loved our stay. A lot of time and care put into this place We would definitely stay here again. Lots of wonderful little touches and the hot tub is a great add on. It is a little over a mile on a dirt road so just be aware of that but didn’t bother us at all.

Great place

This cottage was awesome. Great location, very quiet. The little details like chocolate by the bed just took it over the top. My dog loves the little enclosed yard so he didn't have to be on a leash every time we went outside. And the sunsets were amazing. Will definitely stay there again.

Breathtakingly Beautiful Cabin

The pictures of the cabin and property do not do it justice. Pam and Rob were so friendly and know how to make a cabin feel like home with so many personal touches. Very pleasant stay, communication with host is A Jacuzzi is great, would recommend if you’re looking for comfort and to get out of the city. Pam left little touches around the cabin that made my husband and I feel very welcome and special for our anniversary!

Beautiful, Clean Cabin

This cabin was beautiful and so clean. The hosts were so thoughtful in making this place comfortable for anyone staying. The main house is on the property but there are privacy hedges and the whole area is quiet and peaceful. Thank you for your hospitality, Pam!

When we arrived, it began to snow. The cabin and the scenery were just amazing. The cabin was just the right fit for us to unwind and relax, especially with the Jacuzzi. The host was amazing in responding quickly. This has been by far the best experience to our needs.The host was amazing in providing the little things that just made it remarkable.

Weekend trip

Our stay was great! Just enough space for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. I hadn’t realized it was directly next to the main home but it wasn’t an issue at all, we would stay again! Great hosts, great weekend :)

Great use of space, clean, has everything you would need. Nice area on top of a hill, quiet, cute patio, all was great. I am not sure why anyone would stay at a hotel when there are rentals of this type available to travelers. Thanks Pam, see you next time!

Great, quiet location

We loved our star at the Dewey House! As small as the house is it is very comfortable, clean and well outfitted. They have a beautifully fenced back yard that is covered with pea gravel that makes a nice place for our dog Lucy to play. It includes outdoor seating for star gazing in the late evening. We enjoyed sitting out as the sun set and watching the grouse scurry around. During the night we were able to hear coyotes yapping. The view of the surounding mountains is fantastic! We will definitely be back in the future!

Recharching and ready for 2025!!

This was the perfect retreat for me and my dogs. I could not have hoped for a cleaner, more welcoming place. Its only about a mile off of the freeway, but up on a hill and close to the stars. I woke up to a beautiful sunrise and will enjoy another sunset as i finish this review. It feels remote, but i also felt very safe! The truest of "welcomes" off a beaten path!

Our adventure toward Sedona from Tempe is what brought us to Dewey House, and what a treat! We rented a JEEP which was fun on the gravel roads leading up the slopes to this cozy slice of heaven! Stars bright as ever, morning bird watching (and listening) with coffee on the cozy porch in a blanket watching flecks of snow fall and melt. Pam was an incredibly gracious host, offering extra blankets and a selection of treats (which the teens excitedly took to immediately)! Loved the dog treats in the wardrobe, missed my dog as result! Property is charming and peaceful and makes for a perfect spot between Prescott Valley, Sedona and Phoenix areas! Will return and next time, the hot tub! THANK YOU!

Charming restful little retreat

I stayed at this peaceful cabin for a week while visiting family in Prescott Valley a short 18 minute drive away. This was the perfect accommodation for me to have just enough of my own space for the nights. The cabin is decorated so beautifully with lots of special touches and details. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. I appreciated having a fenced yard to let my dogs out in the mornings and I enjoyed coffee on the porch while watching them explore their space. There was ample places to walk them as well. The drive up to the place seems a bit tricky the first day but very easy once you become familiar. The owner was very nice and we had great communication. The hot tub is a nice addition that has nice ambience in a private setting a very short walk from the back yard. This will be my go to for future visits to the area. I will note that there is no stove for cooking but there is a microwave and toaster oven.

We had such a fantastic stay. This cabin is in a perfect location to sit out under the stars at night next to the fireplace. Every little detail was perfect - from robes to keep warm in the walk to the hot tub, little chocolates by the bed, and a cover for the skylight so we could sleep in one morning. It felt like Pam really considered everything. We loved our trip and hope to be back again!
