2 night min. 2 car parking. Welcome families, couples and extended families. No high school or college groups. A locked privacy gate( security) Surrounded by tall privacy wall.
Beautiful, beachfront townhome on Rehoboth Bay. Private boat dock included. Gorgeous sunsets 1 1/2 block walk to the ocean beach. Walking distance to all Dewey Beach has to offer. An easy bike or Trolley ride to Rehoboth Beach. Snug Harbor is a beachfront vacation in itself. When you return from a day at the beach...sit out on your private dock and enjoy your favorite cold beverage while watching the boats sail by, better yet spend the day on your own private beach! There is also plenty of entertainment on the dock...it is a popular place for crabbing and only available to those who are staying at Snug Harbor. The majority of our clients are returnees and have made some of their best vacation memories here. Just totally remodelled! New gorgeous screened in porch.All outdoor areas have been completely remodeled new beach decking etc. in 2022.

Families are preferred. We provide a port- a-crib for ease. Quiet time at Snug Harbor is from 11pm until 8am and is strictly enforced. Please include the number and age of guests who are staying at the property, look whether it will be a Group, family etc.

Wonderful place. First time we've ever stayed there. The view of rehobeth bay was wonderful. We used the balcony porch often. Also close to beach. Place was spotless and well equipped. Comfortable and welcoming. Great communication with owner. We'll be back!!

Awesome place!

This townhome is amazing! Super clean, tons of room, great location. Janie kept in touch with us and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Best spot in dewey

I have stayed at many locations in Dewey and this is still my favorite spot. Great location, great view, has everything you could ever need in a rental. Highly recommend!!

Amazing location and view!

It has an amazing view, both from porch and master bedroom. A private beach is key - but place is a very short walk to ocean beach. Great restaurants and bars are walkable. Rebobeth Beach is a short and easy drive. Very nice place!

Best spot in dewey!

I’ve stay at a lot of different places in Dewey and this is probably the best one yet. Great location, quiet neighborhood, and the best view of the bay. Highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful Spot!

We brought our two girls under two and had a great time. The little beach was perfect for young kids, there was a playground a block away, and Janie was a great host and pulled out the pack ‘n play for us. We’ll be back!

A Fabulous Getaway

We had such a great stay in Dewey! Janie our host was responsive and kind. The location is ideal—close enough to the beach without the crowds and noise but accessible to all our favorite spots. It has fantastic views of the bay and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the screened it porch. Can’t imagine a better VRBO in the Rehoboth-Dewey area.

Great spot in Dewey

First time staying in Dewey and it was quieter than we thought. Great location and a quick walk to a lot of restaurants and bands. Easy for teen to hop on the Jolly Trolly at the end of the street and take it to Rehoboth. Couldn’t beat the views and just an overall wonderful family spot!

Best of both worlds

The property was ideally situated on the bay side with a private beach which made it great for our 6 1/2 year old granddaughter and my disa bled wife. It was only a few blocks down the street to the ocean and the beaches there. It was a really relaxing stay.

I didn’t want to go home!

How did you get a king size bed up. Spiral staircase???

Great location on the bay, walking distance to everything. The private beach was nice for watching the sunset A few things could be updated , like the beds and the sliding glass door out to the screened in porch is a bit sticky and an older version. The top floor primary bedroom is a like a little oasis with a beautiful view.

Perfect beach getaway!

The view from the screened in porch is everything!! We stayed several nights with two other couples and had a lovely time. It’s close to the beach, on the bay with its own little beach, and the views are fantastic. It was clean and had two parking spaces (we got a third parking space from the “town of Dewey” kiosk for the third couples car and those spots (green spots) were right across from the condo. Walking distance to all restaurants in Dewey (we loved Starboard Raw the most) and just a great weekend!

Best location we’ve ever stayed in, by far! We’ve taken many family beach vacations, and it’s rare to have usable outdoor space right outside the rental. The little beach and dock on the bay were perfect—a refreshing change from typical rentals. Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock and actually had space to play outside when we weren’t at the beach. This spot is ideal for a family of six. With seven, it felt a bit tight, but it was still one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed!! The condo is two stories, with a master bedroom and full bath upstairs, and two bedrooms on the main level. There’s also a small TV room off the family room, separated by a sliding door, which worked well for an extra guest. There wasn’t any storage space in that room, so we kept the sofa-bed pulled out so he could store his things underneath. Overall, a wonderful stay with a great, responsive host who patiently answered all of my questions—I would highly recommend!

Idyllic home right on the Chesapeake Bay

We had the summer vacation of our dreams! The house is perfectly located right on the water with the most amazing views and sunsets. Cute sandy beach for the kids to play wiffle ball, dock with plentiful crabs to catch, great spot to launch my paddleboard. Beautifully decorated beach home with just enough space for our 7 family members. Ocean a quick walk down the block. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and even more activities such as parasailing, pontoon rentals, banana boat riding. We even took skim boarding lessons! So grateful to the super owners for allowing us to stay!

Exactly what we were looking for

Had a wonderful impromptu getaway. We weren’t sure if we wanted to be closer to the ocean or on the bay. Hands down the screened in porch to hang out and watch the bay with our coffee and the sunset while playing games was absolutely what we wanted. The home had everything we were looking for/needed inside. Only thing that was awkward for us was having to bring towels and linens- I’ve never been requested to do that and had to find some xl twin sheets via friends. We are already making plans for our next trip ! The owner was fantastic and easy to work with!

Perfect Location!

We stayed at Janie's place as two families with an infant and two 4 year olds. The location is perfect, just far enough off the main strip that it wasn't too loud but an easy walk to great restaurants and the beach, and then an easy trolley to Funland for the kids. The private beach within Snug Harbor also can't be beat - perfect spot for the kids to play after dinner while the parents enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the sunset! A few things to be mindful of are that the 4th "bedroom" is immediately off the living room/kitchen so, if you were planning to use that for a younger child, it may not work for you. There are also a lot of stairs (one of which is a spiral to the primary bedroom) and pack and plays will only fit in two of the three main bedrooms. Overall, Janie was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host and the place was clean, neighbors were respectful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Janie!

A special place // a true gem

Somehow lucked into a late booking for this special place. Was told it was a place for family and a great place for kids. Not only was it great for our family but we felt like family for the way the owners welcomed and helped us. It’s a truly unique spot with a private beach on the bay. Our kids were able to explore and play — practically alone — for hours on end. The location is central in Dewey so we barely needed to get in the car. And the walk to the ocean is mere minutes. My only hesitation booking this place is that it may make it harder for us to get dates for next year! Do yourself a favor - book some time here. And make sure to be home for sunsets over the Bay. If you put on the 1812 Overture just at the right time, you may weep as my father and I did — watching the big red ball give itself over to the other half of the world, but sprinkling magic pinks and orange dust across the Bay as it does. “Again” my children yelled together.
