Fantastic Guest House
Had a fantastic stay. The owners are very friendly and everything you could need is provided. Our room was very clean ,spacious and well equipped. Location is good with a short walk to the sea front and the town centre. Sadly we didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast as we had to head off early as we were doing a marathon but the choice looked great. We would definitely stay again when we are in teh area.

Lovely hotel
Lovely comfortable, clean hotel. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a large shower. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of choice. Very accommodating hosts. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again

Lovely stay at The Brandize
The Brandize Guest House was in a great spot just a 20 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants. The Brandize was very clean and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. I would definitely stay again. The only negative comments I would make would be - All the courses of breakfast came almost at the same time and we would have liked some time between the courses to digest the food and relax a bit. We ran out of toilet paper on the last day as it hadn’t been replenished when the room was refreshed the day before. Check in was a bit disorganised and not as friendly, welcome and informative as we would have liked. Tim and Vicky are new to the business but I feel they would have benefitted from some help and advice before they started to run the guesthouse. Well done guys but please be a bit more welcoming on check in x

We had a wonderfull stay here, Mandy and Aiden made us feel very welcomed upon arrival through to the end of our holiday, the breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed each day sitting in their front garden in the sunshine. The Hotel is close to museum, eateries, bars and beach and harbour and just a short drive away from other amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return again Wishing Mandy and Aiden all the best in the buisness and there future.

We couldn't have had a warmer welcome here and we had a really pleasant stay. Our room was comfortable and appealing with a nice view of a tree just outside. There is a small shady garden with a bench where you can sit outside too. The Brandize is an easy walk to the sea and you can take a route through the Torre Abbey grounds. Mandy and Aidan have only recently taken over this property and have plans to revamp and reorganise. The public areas are pleasant but a facelift is due, as they recognise. I would have liked a non-slip mat for the shower and maybe larger cups at breakfast- they were very small, meaning I had to cross over to the buffet for refills. However, it was a lovely weekend stay, our hosts were engaging and I would definitely return.

This is a wonderful accomodation. Rick and Sarah have decorated and furnished the rooms beautifully. All extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was well layed out and breakfast very good

Easy access to beach and town 10 minutes walk
Great base and value. Breakfast was provided which sets you up for the day. Torquay is an enjoyable beach/ bay at which to spend with family. Very picturesque. Room very clean. Car park quite small but enough to accommodate all guests.

The Brandize Hotel is in a good location short walk to seafront and town. Rick and Sarah were first class hosts, nothing was too much trouble and even washed are car down after been parked under a tree before we set out.

A perfect B&B for a perfect break!
Such a lovely place to stay. Sarah and Rick couldn’t do enough for us. The beds were extremely comfy, the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was lovely. I highly recommend this B&B and would stay again without hesitation.

Best Torquay B&B I've stayed in.
The Brandize is very tastefully decorated and furnished, kept immaculately and is comfortable. It's also very well situated and has easy parking, which a lot of Torquay accommodation doesn't! I've stayed in a number over the years when I've been working on events close by and it's certainly the best I've stayed in.

When we arrived a note was on the front door saying the owners would be available at 3pm , so we went down to Torre Abbey for a coffee which was lovely and the sun was out , went back just after 3pm and we where greeted by Sarah and Rick , showed us to our room told us what time breakfast was , the rest of the week was good breakfast really yummy and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and Rick , when we left to come home thearly host came and saw us off and shook hand and I got a hug and kiss ,really good hosts , would go there again

Torquay experience
I stayed for three nights and the room was ideal with a lovely shower. The breakfast was very good and the owners Rick and Sarah gave a nice personal touch to the experience for me. Quite easy to find and good parking. so I would definitely recommend the Brandize Guest house

We had the family room. Space little cramped but very clean. Shower running hot then cold frequently but manageable. Owners friendly and helpful. Interior a little dated and dark. Breakfast choices good but hot breakfast portions rather small for vegetarians who are not eating bacon or sausage.

Only stayed one night. The proprietor, Nick, was very accommodating especially as we got there quite late in the evening. Lovely breakfast next morning. Our room (No. 12) was very clean. Parking at the front of the hotel. Bed very comfortable.

very good, spotlessly clean and comfortable. No problem parking even though I had a Renault master van. nothing was too much for the owners Rob and Sue and I echo the previous reviews that the larger hotel chains could learn a lot about hospitality from guest houses like this. Breakfast was good and filling and the barbican with its bars and restaurants are just around the corner.

My honest review
Trying to find the guest house was bit of a bind as a) there were major road works outside which we had not been informed about,b) the sign to the guest house was small and obscure. Having said that, the room was comfortable (although I wouldn't have classed as superior)The staff was very welcoming and our requests during our stay were attended to without hesitation. I Was a little surprised to find the tariff displayed was slightly less than Hotels.com had charged.
