"+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman.
The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble.

"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious.
