"Great view. Good distance from Devils river. That’s why we came. The views alone are breathtaking. Really cool to hike down to the canyons. And the Barbary sheep are fun to watch. Lake and most all water was low. But did not disappoint!!!"

"Liked the indoor & outdoor pools and the two saunas, plus the gym, and the fact they are available 24 hours is awesome. Most hotels shut them down at like 8-9pm, which is lame. The restaurant and bar were both very good and the free breakfast and dinner is a great bonus. Also, the staff we came across, mostly at the front desk, were great. The only two summers were the room/location and housekeeping. The hotel was booked so we ended up with a second floor room (no elevator) in an older part of the hotel, so dated rooms and with a few of the parking lot. Not a huge deal, but we've stayed there before and know there are better. And finally, housekeeping. We left our do not disturb sign out for the first couple days, but needed a cleaning and restocking of supplies on the third day. The housekeeper came in, left clean towels and emptied the trash...and that is it. Didn't change sheets or even make the bed. No coffee restock, no shampoo or soap, and no cleaning at all. All-in-all a good stay though and I would stay there again."

"Very convenient to the Amistad reservoir , felt very safe, the staff was very helpful , the breakfast tacos vere very good. They also sell burgers. Room was clean with microwave and refrigerator."
