Very disappointed! The dresser was missing a drawer the chair was all ripped up, some of the lights weren’t working. The towels were stained and old, the tv had a line going up and down, there was no garbage can and the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly and it seen better days. It looked like there was damaged to it and all they did was paint over it. Speaking of the bathroom we seen a cockroach when we turned the light on.

The rooms were filthy. Attendant was out smoking weed and not on post. He was nice when we did finally check in. Whole hotel smelled of cig smoke or pot. Linens were filthy. Damage to bathroom walls and door. Ran out of towels - the hotel had no more. Typical red roof inn

Filed under you get what you pay for, but, unswept floors and 3 roaches spotted in under the first hour spelled less than an hour stay. Was cordial and asked for refund. Was told until they were paid by Hotels.com I would not get refund. Hotels.com tried multiple times to engage with them to no avail. Lesson learned.

Absolutely horrendous.
We entered the room, smelled a strong pee smell, saw several stains on the blankets, lots of dirt and dust on every piece of furniture, toilet paper stuck on the floor under the sink, and we left. Yep, we thought staying there overnight would have been a threat to our life and our health. Extremely unhygienic, unsanitary and unsafe.

The good: staff was friendly, it was cheap and served our basic needs. The bad: the room was badly in need of a proper cleaning. It was super grimy behind the faucet at the sink. The inside of the trash can (below the bag) was revolting. Not sure they'd even vacuumed the carpeted areas in a while (though the smooth floor areas looked pretty clean). They don't keep up on repairs either - the dresser was missing a drawer, the door was damaged, et cetera. No coffee provided in the lobby despite the listing saying there is (there was a coffee dispenser machine but no actual coffee during the posted hours). Also the grassy areas were heavily strewn with dog poop. I love dogs and always travel with mine, but it was hard to get them out without ending up with shoes covered in feces. This is more on the guests than on the hotel, but is nevertheless one of the reasons I would not stay there again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There were no drawers in the room so we could not It put them up, had to get our own towels and take out the trash ourselves. No housekeeping. No supplies. The smoke alarm kept going off and there was no one to make it stop until the next day. The managers/owners are rarely there. No maintenance people on premises. It took three tries to get towels going to two different house keepers to get it. The tv was broken on the side. All you see is lines on the right side of the tv screen. The tub had a strip of some type of covering on it to avoid cleaning it. Complaints are met with disdain by staff. Avoid ROOM 153 at this dump. Nothing good in there

The room was horrible, the base board modling was not attached to the wall by the door, pillows sucked, paid for a superior room no chair in the room, needed to be painted, towels were small & over used Friend came to see me & when we left to go get food, we got pulled over. We asked why & he told us we just came out off a known drug place

The room was destroyed. No smoke alarm, reeked of cigarette smoke, trash under the beds, drawers on the dresser were destroyed, Cracks in the ceiling. Everything was dirty. Everything! Nothing matched with the pictures on google. This place is a dump.....and thats literally the nicest thing i can say about it. Omg, ive stayed in some roach motels, but this place was the worst I've ever seen. Random drunks roaming around, quite clearly prostitution going on. Wow!!!! Told the staff of the issues and they clearly didnt seem suprised.

I want my money back!! I was absolutely disgusted!
So we got this room because I use hotels.com decent reviews so I booked it because we didn’t want to stay in downtown Detroit because it’s so expensive when there a huge concert is there!! The pictures posted for the hotel to rent the room. We’re super deceiving as soon as we got into the lobby which the picture showed was a beautiful lobby. It was bulletproof glass and only one window but whatever I was only there for one night just to sleep after the concert, as soon as we got to our room, we noticed the air conditioner had no front on it but whatever it worked so we got ready real quick because he wanted to get there early. Never really realizing what else was to come as soon as we got back late to the hotel, my son noticed which I should’ve checked something was up with the bed the mattress was flipped upside down the pillow top was on the bottom and the springs were on top. I know it was late, but I went to call the front desk to complain and there was no cord hooked to the phone. I’m not a big complainer, but I have broken ribs and I we were not able to flip the mattress over well we didn’t even try after we lifted it up because of the hole that was exposed as the pictures you will see I did not sleep at all that night. It was absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had not to mention the clientele it was definitely a pay per week hotel. I’m very disappointed when I checked out the front desk all they told me we will tell the general manager! Don’t stay there!

The most disgusting and filthy hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Ended up leaving. Smelled like smoke so bad. Hair all over the sheets and blankets. In the shower and on the floor as well. Everything was broken - TV, dresser, language/coat rack. Looked nothing like the pictures. Extremely loud guests. A person sleeping outside in their car. Trash in the common exist. Horrible experience. Everything I had smelled like cigarettes.

I arrived late at night so had to stay for the first night. I turned in my keys and did not stay the second night. The room was full of a stale smoke smell which caused me to have asthma problems. The towels were small and threadworn - but they were clean. The bathroom and sink seemed relatively clean, but there was a lot of deferred maintenance (some unsafe - like the facade of a cabinet drawer that was broken off, but the staples were sticking through into the open-faced drawer). I woke up when a cockroach crawled on my wrist. I feel like the staff did the best they could but didn't feel an overwhelming amount of customer service. That is, when I turned in my keys, the front desk person did not ask what was wrong or try to remedy in any way. But really not sure what they could have done anyway. It is a worn down facility in a transitional area right next to some of the most challenged parts of the metropolitan area.

The drawers to the dresser were kicked in. The ironing board was stained and had hair on it. When I requested an iron from the front desk, they looked for 10 minutes and couldn't find one telling me "They steal them faster than we can replace them." The matress had giant depressions on both sides. The lock to the door got stuck several times. Clearly people were using the hotel to use and sell drugs. Very sketchy. We didin't stay either of our 2 nights and went to a better hotel.

The products used to clean the room were harsh smelling and very strong. While washing my hands it was noticed the hot water barely worked. In addition there were issues with the television that were never reported to me during check in. No telephone in the room to contact the office with questions or issues. Then finally while walking back from the office to ask about the television service there were rats running near the rooms and parked cars. We did not complete our visit and left shortly after. Never booking here again
