"Absolutely horrible - probably comparable to the worst truck stop you can imagine. Terrible service, staff were lethargic and unhelpful. Guests were loud, coming and going all night - locking and unlocking doors, smoking in their rooms - which filters into your room. My shower was mouldy and there was no water at all in the morning to even take shower. As a woman travelling for business, I did not feel safe staying there."

"Lovely bush experience only just outside Ulundi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could here the singing from the local church service whilst in the garden. Sounded beautiful!"

"If ever you find yourself in Vryheid I would highly recommend Oxford Lodge. The manager was constantly on hand to make sure our stay was comfortable and was most accommodating. A pool would’ve been great due to the 30 degree temperature but the shower and air on were equally as good."
