"The beach was beautiful. Our room was clean, but did have some issues, wall plug-in sockets without protective covers being the biggest. The staff was not real helpful or responsive, and always on "island time".....slow!! Don't eat at the poolside bar unless you have all afternoon, we waited over a half hour for a cocktail, then over an hour for our food, which was not very good. You definitely get what you pay for. "

"Out of five catamarans only two were in sailing condition. The pool table sags in the center. The air hockey table doesn’t work. There was no ball for fuss ball table. Despite being an all-inclusive resort, tip jars were everywhere. We were unable to get reservations at any à la carte restaurant all week; this is done via app. The buildings need cleaning and renovations. The beach is superb. The room was quiet except one night when neighbors were speaking loudly after midnight. The trapeze show was stunning. The buffet food was excellent. The staff was friendly. Checking in and out was easy. This was my third stay at Viva Fortuna. I will return if they update facilities and equipment. "

"Property was quiet and secluded. There is a lot to do on the property to keep you buys. Most day trips were a quick 15 to 20 minute drive to town. Local grocery store very expensive compared to what we normally pay but to be expected on an island. My son has had a severe illnesses due to mold exposure and this was a much needed get away for our family and the perfect retreat to enjoy sun, salt and sand. Highly recommend. Communication with owner was excellent and check in and out process quick and simple. "
