"The sheets were way over bleached and burned my skin. The bed is way too soft and the sofa is uneven and sinks. The area is quite scary especially at night, and it is surrounded by vacant lots and construction zones. Most of the other stores in this building are closed, and homeless people walking around. The cleaning products use have a distinctively bad smell that even the air conditioning couldn’t eliminate, and the air conditioners are so loud you can’t hear the tv if they are running."

"The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit."

"Listing was not as advertised, in an unsafe neighborhood, requested separate rental agreement (which would be fine) but an additional requirement for card documentation for their file, implying a duplicate charge. When I tried to cancel our 5 night stay (online, via phone, and through email) after nearly being accosted by 3 strangers upon our entry, I was immediately denied and told 'no refund', 'can't cancel' and 'its not known (locally) as a safe place'.
