"I absolutely adore this hotel. Though it has only a handful of rooms, the services it provides are unparalleled compared to much larger resorts. Nestled on a stunning white sand beach, this charming hotel exudes sophisticated Caribbean elegance and luxury. The staff is among the friendliest and most accommodating I've ever encountered. From the refreshing welcome drink to the cool towels and fresh fruit served poolside, along with the delightful lounge musicians and the complimentary half-hour of water sports each day (I enjoyed snorkeling with sea turtles one day and water skiing the next), the service is truly world-class. The à la carte breakfast is exceptional, and I dined here twice for dinner; the food is outstanding, with their lobster bisque being the best I've ever tasted. The bartenders are generous with their pours, adding to the experience. We stayed in the “Mile and a Quarter suite,” which was beautiful, brand new, and featured a private lanai overlooking the sea. While the hotel is on the pricier side, I believe you truly get your money's worth—perhaps even more, considering how remarkable this place is. My only minor complaint, which feels almost trivial to mention, is that I forgot my toothbrush, and the hotel charged me a small fee for a replacement. It felt a bit out of character given the overall excellence of this establishment."

"The three bedroom apartment was very, very spacious, clean, and had modern finishes. The furniture blended in well with the design and kept the space feeling light and fresh. The pool is a nice size and the area is very relaxing. My friends and I had a wondeful weekend there, it was the perfect peaceful get away. Nicole and Mark ensured that all of our needs were taken care of. Will definitely book my third stay next year. "

"Amazing spacious property one block from the beach and ocean.Located in a quiet neighborhood with close access to public transportation to all costal sites and restaurants. The upper deck provides a view of the ocean and is great for sun and socializing. The property manager is very helpful and responds immediately. We will definitely be staying here again. "

"I fell in love with the villa the moment I walked in. The owner Kevin, clearly put a lot of thought into making sure everything you’d need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was provided. The only thing to note is that there’s no TV, but we were able to stream our favorite shows on my laptop without any issues."

Ann is a great property manager. Dionne is the best housekeeper we have ever had in all of our extensive travels. You couldn't fine a better, more responsible owner than Kerry. "We spent 2 weeks at Ancient grove and absolutely loved it. There were 10 in our party including 3 small children and the place was just brilliant. The size of the property was great for such a large group we were able to have all our meals together looking out over one of the most stunning views. I could honestly never get bored of that view.The tranquility of the location was really something else and we were still only 5-10 minutes from some breathtaking beaches. And 10-15 minutes from Holetown. There is also Haymans market which was 2 minutes down the road and was a good place to visit for some nice takeout food or coffees and other things. We were never in the car for longer than 30 minutes getting to anywhere really and we visited lots of different parts of the island. So again the location is ideal.The pool area was perfect for us as well as in the afternoons when it got a bit hot for the children out or at the beach we were able come back to a dappled shaded pool where you over looked a deep grove and still see the Caribbean Sea!The rooms were great. Were were in the bottom room as we had 2 children with us. It was maybe a little less salubrious than the others but we only used it to sleep in any way and worked well for us. We were able to contact the owners easily whenever we needed anything (nothing significant just a broken kettle) and they were very responsive. We had the best time there and would 100% book there again if were to go back to Barbados."
