The location is great - just 500m to the start of the Adam’s Peak trail. And there are other walks through tea plantations right out the door. The room was generally fine, though felt a bit tired - not run down, just not crisp. It also smelled musty."

"After you leave the main road to, literally, dive onto this hotel on a 45 or so degrees slope, you'll find yourself in a tiny combe crossed by the river flowing from the top of the main mountain: Sri Pada a.k.a. Adam's Peak. Legend has it that some vehicles are no longer able to climb it back and are consequently stuck there for ever. Why did you come here? Well, to climb that peak, of course! What else?
