"Positives: room was clean and there was a range of tea and coffee. Shared kitchen was well equipped and clean. Bed was comfortable. Near the football and cricket grounds. Restaurants within walking distance (not Nottingham but West Bridgford) Negatives: our en-suite had a macerator and smelled strongly of drains. This has been covered up on our arrival with a smell of incense. The toilet worked but it shouldn’t have smelled like that. No response from host whatsoever. Parking limited- we had to park on the street opposite one night as no spaces available."

"Dog welcome pack provided when travelling with a dog. Large grassy area to the rear perfect for before -bed dog walk, and placed in a room with easy access to the outside."

"I had a room that’s just been refurbished. It’s so much nicer than before. Other floors currently being refurbished. Parking can be a nightmare driving around because the car park is used by gym members. Food good. Staff great and helpful and the gym is great too. Cheers"

"The hotel was clean and generally well kept. We enjoyed a nice stay, but a couple of things would have made things better: - On checking in, the receptionist was very functional. We would have appreciated a welcoming smile as well as being told the relevant information. - The menu needs to be updated to show what is actually served. However, nothing to stop us from returning."

"Obviously a very rough location to stay, Pay as you go bar service, however also have to leave a £50 refundable deposit "for any damages" apparently I said to the girl who checked me in " is it really that rough?" Her response was "yes we have alsorts in here and the system won't let me check you in unless you pay the security deposit" make you feel very welcome..."

"Very basic. Hotel room wasn’t what I thought it would be. There were hardly any plug sockets and everything was hard work for example the kettle situation was very faffy. Also the bathroom fan was so loud. Bed was comfortable but it just didn’t live up to expectations. The foyer was very meh! I arrived on a Sunday and there was no food available so I had to Deliveroo. Not what it appears to be online."
