"Me and my wife came on our honeymoon to Kurumathi, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. I would like to give a special mention to Thorgi, who serviced our room and 2 kitchen staff at Farivalhu restaurant (unfortunately i didn't make a note of their names). The resort's beautiful and exceeded our expectations, especially with providing snorkelling equipment as part of the all inclusive package. "Varu was exactly in its name, an Atmosphere experience! From the drum ceremony arrival to the birthday dinner on the dock gazebo to the food and the service. Impeccable! I celebrated my birthday at Varu and absolutely loved the experience. Abby, Zune and the entire crew were phenomenal. I made new friendships here. My only suggestions are more entertainment during the evenings. It's a little bit dead after 9pm during the weekdays. But we would absolutely recommend. Charcoal is worth every moment! Food might be the best we've ever had. Try the lamb skewers, Wagyu and Pork Belly. Phenomenal! My water villa was what dreams are made of! Will definitely be back. "

They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "
