"Alfred and Nicole’s place is so artfully done, peaceful, and comfortable. It is impeccably clean and they were the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever had. The property is just outside a small town, and there isn’t too much traffic during the day but at night it is silent. They were so welcoming of our little dachshund, and the gate can be closed to provide a safe place for a doggie to investigate. Their dog Paul is a lovely good boy. Our hosts recommended a wonderful nearby hike and other nearby...

"On arrival we had to check in at the sister property down the hill. At check in they were unable to find our booking and we’re not expecting us, they did provide us with a room but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. There were dustpans & brushes left on the landing, room was reasonably clean but tired, breakfast was an extra €7 each at the sister property down the street and was good value. The bar was not open.
