"We stayed at Giellajohka for 6 days and wished we had longer. It was magic. The river cabins are cozy, warm and have a substantial kitchen. "Everyone at the Snowhotel was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the dogsledding. We spent a night in the Snowhotel. The sleeping bags they provide are very warm. Everything was great. Just keep in mind, there is no plumbing in the Snowhotel. Bathrooms and showers are in an attached building."

"The hotel is new and very typical. We had a wilderness room which was spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. However the bathroom, although new, seemed basic. I would appreciate a screen between shower and toilet, lack of screen means the toilet gets wet. The cleaning of the room is every other day. However we stayed three nights and the room was never made. I think to ask 25 euros for a WhatsApp message for the aurora alert is ridiculous, it should be complimentary. Food choice is reasonable...

"We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. Also make sure you stock up...
