"Lovely hotel. Great night sleep in a very comfortable bed. About a 20 minute walk to the main centre of the town. Limited facilities available at the hotel after about 7pm. No bar open after this time so had to walk elsewhere to get a drink. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Would stay here again"

"Excellent location for cycling and quiet holiday and visit to Girthorn village. Very spacious rooms with excellent heating and bedding. Breakfast offered hot and cold food at reasonable price. "

"The surrounding is beautiful, but the facilities are poor. The bathroom was plain with no shower door. The breakfast was poor. The place could have been great if fixed up and better managed. "

"Sehr schöner Ort, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich genossen und würden auf jeden Fall zurückkehren. Eine besser ausgestattete Küche wäre jedoch großartig, aber seien Sie einfach darauf vorbereitet, alle Grundzutaten selbst zu kaufen. Abgesehen davon ist es ein sehr schöner Ort. Leichter Zugang und sehr ruhig. Hat uns gefallen!!!"
