"Our room was very clean and remodeled well. We were only staying one night so we booked the cheapest king bed room. This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them. "There is much to recommend this hotel. The common areas are lovely; the location beautiful; and the spa very relaxing (though nude, despite being co-ed). The concierge was attentive and helpful. We borrowed e-bikes and enjoyed exploring the surrounding Tegernsee lake area (though they had no helmets - we had to rent these nearby). There are two restaurants - a casual bar and a more formal traditional Bavarian restaurant. The food and cocktails were quite good. The rooms themselves were large but...

"We stayed overnight en route to Italy. The check in was easy and staff friendly. Initially we were given a twin room instead of a triple but this was quickly rectified. The only downer was no air-conditioning on the plus side there is a 25% discount on purchases at the shop for guests , and a great play area for kids"
