The hotel was peaceful and quiet. Lush vegetation surrounded the hotel and it backed onto the river. The room was large and very comfortable. Airport pickup and drop-off was well arranged. The pool was nice and it had a nice restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast came with room and was good. The only minor problem is the hotel is a long walk in hot conditions from the main street in town. The hotel had a minibus to drop people off in town and it went every 2 hours. No other public transport or uber....

Excellent hotel. A little away from the main downtown area, but if you don't want to walk (which is actually fun if you explore the side streets) then the hotel has a shuttle service. We had an upper room which I personally prefer to the lower ones that are basically adjoining the pool. The pool itself was the best of the various hotels we stayed at in Laos simply because the water was actually cool and refreshing. All staff very helpful. Highly recommended.

Everything was great for our 5 day stay. Luang Prabang is a small town but there is plenty to do. Tourism is important there but it is not overwhelming. Mostly it is people going about every day life which is wonderful as a visitor to walk around in. Very safe town. The hotel is excellent. Easily one of the top places to stay in the whole city. The hotel is 1-2km outside the downtown area but this is no problem. Free transfers whenever you want in the hotel car. Staff are falling over themselves...

We were in a peretual state of BLISS at this hotel! I almost dont want to review it so everyone doesn't swarm on it! The gardens are unbelievably beautiful, you feel like you are loving in a work of art! The skill of the gardening puts you into a euphoric state, dininh at Mada De Laos watching the scarlet water lillies open in the evening was peak experience. The delux room was flawless. We really enjoyed our stay. The relaxing view of the river from our balcony the excellent service from the staff and the availability of excellent bicycles which we used to explore the area. Being on “the right bank” meant the hotel was very peaceful and every time we wanted to cross the river to town, the boat was readily available and there were no problems using it. WiFi was excellent and we had a wonderful dinner on our last night.

We stayed here for 17 nights and it was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful with views over Luang Prabang. The breakfast buffet is awesome with a huge variety of food including Lao and European. The price of a meal was only slightly higher than town but the chef is very talented and the meals were incredible.
