"Fantastic Host and staff. I was able to stay in two different locations here. The beach access was awesome if you’re looking for something away from the public beaches. Those can be crowded on the weekends. Across the street are an Italian and Argentinian restaurant, both very good. You can rent a bike or motorcycle as well at a shop about a 100m down the road. For me it was the perfect location that wasn’t in the crowded towns but not too remote."

"We loved the Villas Andes so much. We stayed in Section F in Villa Caiman with a Garden View. The location was perfect for us and the accommodations likewise. "I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience."

"Clean, well laid out property. Tasty and variety at breakfast (didn’t use the restaurant for other meals). No A/C but a huge ceiling fan that kept us cool, lots of ventilation in rooms, huge bathroom. We took advantage of walking into Tortuguero Village for meals and to watch some sports on TV! For Jaguar hike must wear hiking boots or tennis shoes- toe closed hiking sandals aren’t allowed!! Not allowed on the beach after 6 pm."

"Great place to stay!! Loved everything about it. It's in the jungle, so there's animals around. Monkeys, frogs, sloths, and others. Breakfast is delicious 😋 staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. The beach is right across the street with plenty of food options around. Would absolutely recommend!"

"This was such a lovely stay. The rooms are a really generous size, with amazing views of the river and surrounded by incredible wildlife. You really are in the middle of it. It's also helpful that the airstrip is just on the other side of the river, making it super easy to get there and back (but with so few flights, it's not a disturbance). We had some incredible activities with the reception staff incredibly helpful and the guides super knowledgable and it's clear they love what they do. Manuel in particular was incredible. And even though it rained almost consistently (nothing anyone can do about that), as soon as we came back from activities, the staff were waiting with towels and drinks for us. They also had an abundance of wellies and ponchos, which were super helpful. The only thing that was a little more challenging were the restaurant opening times. As there's literally one restaurant, if you didn't eat before an evening activity or wanted a drink later in the evening (past 8:30pm), you didn't have any options and there was no one to serve you. Minor inconvenience for such a stunning location. And the wi-fi was brilliant, too. And the food was very good."
