"Hotel and staff are really nice . The hotel itself is a nice place . But to get ther from the main road takes 1/2 hour as the road isnot good especially the last 3 km takes 15 min . And ther is nowhere for the car driver to go as there is nothing close by . And they charge 2000srilankan rupees per day nearly 15 dollars . And you have no choice but to pay . I stayed in elegant hotel near kandy the drivers accomadation and food was provided at no charge"

"The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. The restaurant choices are limited and overall the Hotel and the area does not cater for europeans"
