The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. The facilities were good but the balcony got very hot even at breakfast time so a parasol or some sort of shade would have been great."

"House was spacious and pool was good - although it would have benefitted from steps rather than a ladder. Much of the grounds and the house itself needs some money spent - like so many rental properties owners are happy to take the money but not to spend it updating their property. As an example the TV was probably 20 years old. The cutlery was similarly old. The pillows provided were pretty grim. All little things but they do impact on enjoyment. Access to the property was by quite a few steps...

Ainsi que sa voisine avec qui j'ai échangé les clefs.
