The place has no lifts and hence have to get all your luggage upstairs by yourself through the narrow stairs. The approach is a steep climb and may not be very access friendly for older people or with kids. "

Negatives...the stairs! We were on the 5th floor from the entrance, which was a big ask for 60+ year old guests, especially after skiing. We had help with our suitcases though, which was great. I think that is how I can explain why we had a great time at the Astra, we appreciated all the amount of effort people working at the Astra has put-in making our stay so pleasant. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, we loved and used most of the facilities and we could feel that the owners really have done a good job to make the stay a great experience and not only "an accommodation". "Our room was clean but the heater was not working under negative 1 and snowing. No one was in the property to help us fix the issue. No one answers nor return the calls we made. Zero customer service. "
