Book Distrito Portobelo Hotels

"The resort was outstanding. It exceeded expectations in every way. The service was the best we had in Panama. The cocktails were fun and the food was delicious and they have a vegan menu. We stayed in a king room and it was very private, pristine and well appointed."

"I really enjoyed my stay. It was near perfect for me and my own personal preferences."

"This hotel is very run down, and should not be $150/night. Did not have access to running water in our room. Location and beach are its saving graces."

"The hotel is a sleepy bed breakfast located close to the coast next to a tiny village. The property is older it could do a facelift. The single rooms are small, but functional. The air condition worked great. The pool was a big plus .The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My biggest concern was lack of communication when we tried via Expedia to get more information about directions and check-in. However, it worked ok in the end."

"I dont normally leave reviews, but Ciel y Miel was an absolute gem. We will 100% be staying again. The view alone is worth the stay (breathtaking). The staff is incredible, they made us feel like their only guests in every way. And the food is to die for! I have two new all-time-favorite dishes after dining here. There are a limited number of units, making the experience feel very exclusive. We had the private beach all to ourselves for an entire afternoon. If you're into the all-inclusive...

"A very nice and very new hotel located on a beautiful and lively beach. It has comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. In addition it has a restaurant about 100 meters away which serves a decent breakfast and very tasteful dishes at night. I had the delicious langostinos with the ajillo sauce, but the caribeños sauce which I also tasted was terrific as well. The very friendly and helpful owner Eduardo is a good host and he speaks English almost fluently."

"Upon checkin, greet guests with amenities first, not rules or what they can't do. Just something I noticed. Nice clean grounds, pool, and peer. Room though small, was sufficient for the night. Slept well and loved the hammock. Again, clean grounds."

"Great spot for scuba diving, amazing staff, family owned and operated dive facility and hotel. Restaurant on site with delicious food."

"This is a lovely rustic place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sunset from the beach was beautiful. "

"Property does not faces the ocean or beach.living area decor kind of old style . Kitchen utensils needs to be changed."

"All of it! Gabriel is a marvelous host; absolutely above and beyond. The house is lovely, very unique, and the location, right on the water, superb. We'll be back!"

"The place is fantastic , the apartment is beautiful and has all you need . The view are better than pictures shows the whole property has so much to do for kids and adults . Can not wait to go back "

"Staff, especially William, was helpful. The elevator did not work for a couple of days and 8th floor was a bit of a walk. The driveway access is in a really poor condition. The room was just fine. "

"Ocean view! Peaceful and the staff was SUPER attentive and friendly."

"No internet, No hot water,no swimming in front of villa - a real unpleasant North American (= owner)experience , in beautiful Central America"

"I got there only to be told they had canceled my reservation. "

"This property was well kept and managed, even with a few glitches the property owners were very responsive. It’s a peaceful environment we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again."
