"We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million."

"Our Coolderry Lodge stay was wonderful. Wonderful. Centrally located, it's an easy jump to any number of places of interest in the country. Colette, our terrific host, provided warm hospitality, ideas of places to visit and excellent homemade sugar cookies. The farm dogs made sure we were extra welcome. It's hard to overstate the charm and the beauty and quiet of the location."

"There was no clear instructions on how to open the main door. The property manager gave us the wrong code for the room. There was a power outage during our stay and the place had no back up generator so along with no power, there was also no water. My partner was in the middle of washing his face when the water ran out. There’s also no air conditioning unit in the room so we had to open the window as it was too hot. We ended up only staying one night and booking another hotel."

"We were very fortunate to find this property in the wonderful Silvermines for a quick weekend trip over to Ireland. It is such a beautifully finished, well-appointed property to use as a base for travel further around Ireland, or to enjoy the peaceful countryside from in its own right. "We stayed in 6 different VRBO rentals all over Ireland this past month. Of them all, this was the best of all. It was very clean, had an attentive host (managing the lovely restaraunt in front), it was quiet and secluded, the grounds were beautiful...and best of all, the Multifarnham area was astounding. I took a short walk and found the Abbey in town that included a botanical garden with cafe (and tea houses scattered around the grounds), and an amazing park and walking paths around the Abbey....

"A fantastic stay made all the better by the lovely Dympna, she was just amazing and professional and went above and beyond - to check in on us and the house. Excellent communication from her pre-check in too and she even messaged to warn us about roadworks in Terryglass. A 5 star service. "The host was so accommodating. Our flight was actually canceled and he offered to pick up our friends that day and made them feel so welcome. The property is BETER than the pictures. You are in the center to all of Ireland. Beautiful views … we had sheep out side our door. The house was spotless and had everything you needed and then some. The grounds were also outstanding. "Out in county but close to everything. This home was beautiful, everything we could need was provided! The living spaces were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bedrooms were beautiful, it was our own private luxe hotel, but just felt like a peaceful home. Caithriona welcomed us like family and made sure she was always available should we need her, she even gave us some great suggestions on places to visit. We could not ask for a better vacation stay."

"The accommodations are relaxing and beautiful. The town and nearby Nenagh have what you need. Hickey's Bar across the street is a wonderful place to meet the nicest people. Highly recommend staying here at Paul and Karen's place in Silvermines. Karen's friendly reception and initial information set the tone for a great visit!"
