"Great place"

"ROOM 44 - poor cleaning, window that doesn't close properly because it's ruined, but above all insects (ants and various flying insects) that come in and hang around on you and on the blankets. After that I slept in the car from midnight to 4... I will not return to this establishment.. I would have asked for a room change but the reception closes at 11pm and there is no one there until 5am.."

"Good hotel"

"It was bearable, but more roach motel than hotel. Dark and dingy room at the back overlooking a swamp-like swimming pool and AC units. Bed reasonably comfortable, pillows (or rather pillow) dreadful. Inconveniently separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast not worth the money really, but the coffee was nice. Host was agreeable and friendly. Sadly this was the only place we could find as most were fully booked. Next time, I’ll look more in advance and get something better. "

"We spent a very hot week in this lovely house. Liz has extremely good taste and has furnished all the rooms in her own particular style with great attention to detail. As it has very thick stone walls we were extremely comfortable and cool. The house is very well-equipped and we lacked nothing! The garden is beautiful with roses everywhere and numerous seating areas, our particular favourite in the heat being under the large pine tree! Liz and Ronnie were excellent hosts and we...
