"Le gite est idéalement placé pour que l'on puisse faire ses courses à pied, aller au restaurant... et assister aux concerts du festival. Il est frais ce qui est inestimable quand la température flirte avec les 37° voire plus. Super équipé, rien ne manque. Et le propriétaire est très sympa ! Je l'ai réservé pour l'an prochain, c'est dire !"

"We stayed for a week in July. The hosts were amazing and greeted us on our arrival to give us a tour of the house. We were running a bit behind making our way down and they were more than accommodating to our changing arrival time as they live next door to the house which is handy. The house itself is great. Loads of room for all of us and because of the shutters and thick stone walls it was plenty cool enough during the night without a/c (it was 32 degrees during the day when we stayed). the...

Gîte LEGOTINE: Large farmhouse restored

"The property was excellent. Lovely, cool inside the house, well equipped kitchen, lots of bedroom options for families, large outside area including covered dining area near the pool where we had our family meals. Pleasantly rural, easily accessible and not overlooked. Several excellent markets nearby (Villereal Saturday and Issigeac Sunday being the best). Disappointingly, although advertised as having a heated pool, the pool heater was not working. This was a major issue for us as we had two small children and had to guarantee the pool was accessible for them even if the weather was cool. We chose this property specifically because it had a pool heater. The owner explained that the heater blew out in early May, over a month before we arrived, but it had not been repaired and he had not communicated this to us. The pool was covered when we arrived and was dirty, needing 2 sessions with the pool cleaner before we could go in. The air temperature before our arrival had been low 30s but no effort had been made to uncover the pool during the day to warm it up, to mitigate the pool heater absence. As a result the pool was a chilly 22C and it was 3 days of uncovering and covering the pool before the pool temperature reached 26C. When we left the pool was clean and a warm 31.5C for the next guests. Had the owner shown the same consideration to us to make sure the pool was as warm as it could be, the pool heater failure could have been overlooked, but regrettably they did not."

"This was a truly lovely holiday in a lovely region of France, rich with historical sites and a variety of local activities. The nearby markets and charming villages are perfect for day trips and exploring the local culture.As for the villa itself, excellent. It’s very well equipped with everything you could need to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pool is fantastic, with the added bonus of being heated to just the right temperature.The garden is beautifully maintained, with great views and a peaceful, natural atmosphere. The owners live on-site but are never intrusive, they’re friendly and always happy to help if you need anything.All in all, it was a wonderfully relaxing holiday. We’ll definitely be coming back, thank you. 10/10!"

"Great location. Quiet and peaceful while watching and listening to the wildlife.Very well equipped with a great outdoor kitchen near the pool area. Pool temperature was perfect for the days when the sun shone.Only used the downstairs bedroom which has air conditioning should it be required.Friendly but unobtrusive owners live next door.The cats are friendly too……!Most enjoyable.Thanks Bernard!"
